Co-designed with patient and family advisors, this handbook provides prospective and current patient and family advisors (PFA) with the responsibilities and expectations of a PFA. By becoming a PFA, patients and families are given the opportunity in designing and planning the care and services provided by the organization and the healthcare provider. This handbook was developed by Saskatchewan Health Quality Council (HQC) in collaboration with the Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement (CFHI) during CFHI’s Partnering with Patients
