Mid-Term Retention Progress Awards – Awarded to the teams achieving the best mid-term score. For teams in both streams: 1st – $25,000 (Gold), 2nd – $15,000 (Silver), 3rd – $10,000 (Bronze).
January 31, 2024 – Registration Dates
Teams that register by January 31, 2024, are automatically eligible for an Innovation Kickstart Award (see below).

Second Data Submission: Quarterly reporting (for October, November and December 2023).
February 8, 2024 – Awards
Mini-Challenge #2: Senior Leadership Engagement Awards – Teams submit an action plan for engaging their senior leadership in their innovation. Up to 10 awards of $5,000.
February 15, 2024 – Awards
Draw: Innovation Kickstart Awards (third round) – Same as above, for teams that register by January 31 and were not drawn in the first and second rounds. Up to 20 awards of $2,000.
March 7, 2024 - Awards
Impact Awards #2: Outcomes Measurement Progress Award – Teams submit a report (up to three pages) demonstrating clear and measurable progress against the indicator(s) associated with the team’s innovation and total healthcare worker reach. Up to 10 awards of $5,000.
March 19, 2024 - Webinar
Virtual team celebration, Dinosaur Pitch Competition Showcase (TBC).
Before end of March 2024 – Awards
Dinosaur Pitch Award – Teams with the 10 highest Dinosaur Mini-Challenge scores present to a live audience of peers (in person and/or virtually) to share their Dinosaur Plan and outcomes to-date. 1st – $5,000 (Gold), 2nd – $2,500 (Silver), 3rd – $1,000 (Bronze).
April 30, 2024 – Registration Dates
Final deadline to register and be automatically eligible for an Innovation Kickstart Award (see below).

Draw: Innovation Kickstart Awards (fourth and final round) – Same as above, for teams that register by April 30, 2024, and were not drawn in the first, second or third rounds. Up to 10 awards of $2,000.
May 20, 2024 – Awards
Mini-Challenge #3: Sustainable Solutions Awards – Teams submit an action plan to sustain their innovation over the long-term. Up to 10 awards of $5,000. NOTE: Teams that registered between February 9 and April 30, 2024 (inclusive), may choose to submit the Action Plan for Senior Leadership Engagement from the second round Mini-Challenge or the Action Plan for Sustainable Solutions from this third round Mini-Challenge.
June 3, 2024 – Awards
Shared Reach Challenge – For teams that participated in moving the dial on a collective impact indicator related to healthcare worker reach. Up to eight awards of $10,000.
July 31, 2024 – Data Submission Dates
Fourth Data Submission: Quarterly reporting (for April, May and June 2024).
On or around July 31, 2024 – Awards
Overall Retention Achievement Awards – Awarded to the teams with the best overall score. For teams in both streams: 1st – 50,000 (Gold), 2nd – $25,000 (Silver), 3rd – $15,000 (Bronze).
August or September 2024 – Webinar
Challenge Wrap-up Event: Celebrating and sharing successes and learnings and identifying continued opportunities for further impact.

Mini-Challenge #1: Outcomes Measurement Awards – Teams identify outcomes indicators and the population reach that are relevant to their innovative solution. If they are not already measuring their innovation, they share how it could be measured. Up to 10 awards of $5,000.
