Criteria for Inclusion on Patient Engagement Resource Hub
These criteria were co-developed and co-designed in Spring 2021 by an advisory group of patient partners co-chaired by HEC staff members. The group’s purpose was to review the Hub and revise and update these criteria.
For each resource, the answer is ‘yes’ to the following questions:
- Does this resource support patient engagement at the organizational/governance or policy making level? This includes engagement at the meso level (Education, research).
- Is this resource directed at the intended audience (Patients, families, care partners, healthcare partners)? This specifically refers to an engagement audience: those that are involved in engagement at meso/macro levels. Not at the direct level of care but connected to processes and programs.
- Is this a supportive resource to advance and further patient engagement across healthcare systems (e.g., supportive of engagement practices)?
