Core Principles for Public Engagement

Developed collaboratively with members of NCDD, IAP2 and many others, the seven core principles for public engagement reflect the common beliefs and understandings of those working in the field of public engagement, conflict resolution, and collaboration. This resource provides the principles, the rationale behind them, as well as advice on pitfalls to avoid when implementing these principles.
