The Reimagining LTC webinar series brings people together so they can share with and learn from others facing similar challenges and opportunities in long-term care.

The May 17, 2023 webinar featured a panel discussion highlighting non-pharmacological and person-centred care approaches to support the appropriate use of antipsychotics in long-term care homes.  It focused on deprescribing strategies that have been successfully implemented in long-term care homes across Canada.

This webinar was hosted by the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council. Healthcare Excellence Canada is partnering with the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council to provide coaching and additional supports to Reimagining LTC teams in British Columbia focusing on the appropriate use of antipsychotic medications.
