The Right Care Challenge and Enhancing Integrated Care offerings are focused on expanding access to care and easing pressure on emergency departments:
- Right Care Challenge supports health and social care organizations to launch or enhance initiatives that ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place—all while helping reduce avoidable emergency department visits.
- Enhancing Integrated Care supports primary and community care organizations to strengthen integrated team-based care models, including virtual care, making access easier and reducing pressure on emergency departments.

This new offering is one of several aimed at expanding access to care and easing pressure on emergency departments. All are being launched as part of – Care Forward, a national movement of people sharing knowledge and applying proven approaches to make care better for more people across the country.
The registration period for Right Care Challenge is open from May 12 to October 31, 2025. The application period for Enhancing Integrated Care is open from May 12 to June 19, 2025.
