Paramedics and Social Prescribing is a new HEC offering that provides paramedic teams with seed funding, coaching and learning opportunities to use social prescribing to connect clients with local services that support their health and wellbeing.
This new offering is one of several aimed at expanding access to care and easing pressure on emergency departments. All are being launched as part of – Care Forward, a national movement of people sharing knowledge and applying proven approaches to make care better for more people across the country.
The application period for Paramedics and Social Prescribing is May 12 to June 27, 2025.
